Regional carrier Severstal Airlines is developing its international route network

The company plans to start Cherepovets-Helsinki flights in August 2013 by CRJ-200, and signs code-share with Belavia for Cherepovets-Minsk; both routes have demand from residents of Vologda and neighboring regions who want to fly internationally via Helsinki or Minsk rather than via Moscow; Cherepovets Airport will receive international status in August 2013; the owner of Severstal Airlines and Cherepovets Airport invested around $30 million in their development (550 words)
