Sukhoi flies the second Su-30MK

The Sukhoi design bureau has completed the second prototype Su-30MK multi-role fighter. The plane was successfully flown on 23 March and is now undergoing a flight test programme at the Sukhoi flight test centre, at Gromov's Flight Test and Research Institute in Zhukovsky, near Moscow. The second Su-30MK prototype was built around a complex deal on development, construction and delivery of 40 Su-30KMIs to the Indian Air Force. (VK) (DF498.4)
