Hungary introduces Mistral missiles

The Hungarian 5th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment has started the process of introducing into service, Aerospatiale Mistral, short range, anti-aircraft missiles. It is the very first unit of the Hungarian Army to receive modern western equipment.Hungary has ordered Mistrals worth 22 million HUF (US$100 million). The contract is to be fulfilled by April 2000.
