Aerospace equipment producers pull together

St Petersburg's Aerospace Equipment Corporation leads consolidation of producers

Top executives of the St. Petersburg-based Aerospace Equipment Corporation have adopted a five-year development plan for the company. At present, the corporation includes 22 Russian enterprises and manufacturers of aviation equipment, including Pyrometer, Zavod Temp and United Aviation Equipment Consortium: all of them from St. Petersburg. Sergei Bodrunov, General Director and President of Pyrometer, has said that another order of the Russian government,currently in the pipeline, will allow the reorganisation of the corporation to include several new members, so completing the corporation's infrastructure. Electroavtomatika United Design Bureau, a state-owned company from St. Petersburg, is named as one of the new members.
