Russian forces receive missiles

Second unit to be deployed with Topol-M ballistic missile

According to a report in Interfax, Deputy Defence Minister, Colonel General Aleksandr Kosovan, has said that, in the second half of December, another strategic rocket regiment will be equipped with the Topol-M ballistic missile. Like the first such regiment, equipped in December 1998, this second unit will have 10 Topol- M missiles. The report did not specify where the second unit is located.
