Aircraft runs out of fuel

Emergency landing in heavy snow(70 words)

An emergency landing was executed by an An-24, carrying cargo from Omsk to Moscow, at Koltsovo Airport, in the early morning of 7th January. The pilot of the Kamtchatka-based aircraft reported that his aircraft had “suddenly” run out of fuel. The aircraft was landed safely despite heavy snow. An investigation is now being undertaken. There is a suggestion of the fuel simply not being pumped from one of the aircraft's tanks.
