BA to fly 767s to Warsaw?
|
Published:
7/24/1998
According to unofficial information, British Airways is in the final stages of negotiations with LOT to introduce Boeing 767s on its London-Warsaw service, replacing smaller 757s, while LOT is still using the even smaller 737s. The introduction of 767s will bring more passengers and freight to BA, leaving LOT with limited capabilities. It cannot increasethe number of services on its best-selling mid-distance destination. Both companies have signed an agreement building a foundation for a future alliance, but BA is strongly attacking the Polish market. (EE798.4) (MM)
