Agreement between Aeroflot and Vneshekonombank

In June, Valery Okulov, general director of ARIA and Aleksandr Kostin, the chairman of Vneshekonomtorgbank, signed an agreement on co-operation, under which the bank will provide a full package of banking services to the national flag-carrier. The bank will support Aeroflot in its export-import operations, acting as a guarantor for the funds being sought by the airline from commercial financiers. It will also help in arranging aircraft-leasing deals. As a first step, Vneshekonomtorgbank has granted Aeroflot a credit line.(AL798.5) (VK)
