Turkmenistan to get additional Boeing 757 in 2001

Turkmenistan Airlines (TA) and Boeing have signed an agreement, under which TA will take delivery of an additional Boeing 757 in 2001.
TA currently operates six Boeing 737-300s and a 757 on international routes from Ashkhabad, flying to Russia, Ukraine, UK, UAE, Turkey, Iran, and Southeast Asia. In 2000, it plans to open routes to New York, Frankfurt-on-Maine and Dacca.
