Aeroflot and Cubana announce agreement

Code sharing deal between Aeroflot and Cubana on flights to Latin America

Aeroflot has announced that it has signed a code sharing agreement with Cubana de Aviacion SA. Under the agreement, the airlines will fly on the routes Moscow-Havana-Moscow and Havana-Lima-Havana. The flights will use Aeroflot"s fleet and Cubana will be granted a quota of seats for reservation and sale. The flights will be designated by common codes. Valery Okulov, General Director of Aeroflot, said that the agreement would improve efficiency, and should result in better service and increased sales. The two sides have also agreed a coordinated tariffs policy.
