Aviabank restores relationship with MAPO

MAPO bank returns to the fold courtesy of the Central Bank

VPK MAPO and Aviabank have reached an agreement to resume the funding of MiG designs, according to a source from within the Central Bank. The same source claimed that MAPO has played an active part in rescuing the troubled bank, which was previously part of the group. Aviabank has opened a credit line in order to finance the production of the MiG-110A in Austria, along with a number of other institutions. This includes the Bank of Austria, according to one source, and the Libyan government, according to others. The size of the credit line to MAPO from Aviabank has not been disclosed.
