Published: 8/11/1999

Bashirsky Airlines, formerly part of Aerovolga, has started another new direct international route, Ufa-Karachi-Ufa, so making it possible for travellers from the Republic of Bashkortostan to visit the capital of Pakistan without flying via Moscow. The flight will commence according to the airline when they have received sufficient number of bookings. This follows the creation of a direct route from Bashkortostan with the capital of Moldova, Kishinev (www.concise.org. July 8th 1999).
