New KLM route to Central Asia

KLM opens to Tashkent after BA withdraw planned service

KLM is planning to start scheduled flights to Tashkent in September, according to local press reports. The routing for the new route will be Amsterdam -Tashkent -Almaty-Amsterdam, with a one-hour stop in Almaty. Flights from Amsterdam to Tashkent will be Northwest Airlines code shares and will depart Amsterdam on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays; departures from Tashkent will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The KLM moves follows British Airways plan to serve Tashkent being delayed indefinitely.
