Aeroflot agreement with Russian Far Eastern airline

Dalavia and Aeroflot get closer in Khabarovsk

Published: 6/10/1999

Plans for independence at the Russian far eastern carrier, Dalavia Airlines, (Concise Aerospace 1/4/99) would seem somewhat short lived, following the announcement of an agreement reconnecting the company with Aeroflot. Although the details of the agreement are not currently available, Concise expects that the arrangement will tie into the Aeroflot plans to develop major regional feeders to their long haul flights. Dalavia previous operated under Aeroflot"s colours on routes to the Far East and elsewhere from its base in Khabarovsk, and Concise anticipates that future arrangements might follow a similar pattern.
