Aeroflot in joint delivery deal with DHL

According to Reuters, the international courier, DHL, announced that it had signed a deal with Aeroflot airlines, for the delivery of packages weighing 50 kgs or more.
DHL claims that Aeroflot"s direct flights to most European cities, and to many in the USA and Asia, will enable it to reduce the delivery time to many destinations by 50%. It added that the agreement with Aeroflot should also allow it to make same-day deliveries to many destinations in Europe and the former Soviet Union.
DHL currently delivers to 251 cities in Russia, where it has worked with Aeroflot for four years. It also has agreements with other Russian carriers, including Transaero, Arkhangelsk Airlines, Sibir airlines, Volga-Air, Vnukovo Airlines and Nizhgorodsky Airlines.
