GSGA sets up consultative committee

Leading airlines to advise on international policy issues (114 words)

The GSGA is to form a consultative committee comprised of some of Russia's leading airlines, including Krasnoyarsk Airlines (KrasAir), Aeroflot, East Line, Pulkovo Airlines, Volga Dnepr Airlines, Siberia Airlines (Sibir), to liaise with the international department of the agency. According to Krasair, the first planning meeting for the committee recently took place and agreed that the committee would focus on helping GSGA to form international policy, such as interstate aviation agreements. The committee is, however, consultative and the final decisions on such issues remain with the GSGA. The make up of the committee will be decided by the end of 2001.
