Emergency landing for Tu-154M

Sibir aircraft experiences landing gear problems(70)

A Tu-154M belonging to Sibir en route from Irkutsk to Moscow, made an emergency landing at its home base in Novosibirsk, after its landing gear failed to retract according to the aircraft's indicators. The aircraft - carrying 89 people - was built in 1991, and had a major overhaul in July 1999, according to Sibir. An investigation will take place to establish the cause of the indicated warning.
