President of Elk Airlines fired

Rita Lillepuu, Chairman of the Estonian airline ELK (Eesti Lennukompanii) and wife of ELK's President Alexander Belousov, has ousted her husband from the company altogether. Belousov says that his wife came to the airline's office on the 14th December, escorted by the firm's bodyguards, and proceeded to inform him of the Board's decision to sack him. He was then escorted from the premises. Apparently, later in the day, Belousov attempted to re-enter the office with his own bodyguards, but without success. The local press reports that his wife's bodyguards would not even allow him to enter their joint home for the purpose of collecting his clothes, mobile phone, and other belongings.
