Yak-40 engine failure

Reported engine failure on Yamburg-Salekhard route

An engine failure was reported on a Yak-40 flying between Yamburg and Salekhard on the 13th April. The aircraft made an emergency landing after one of the aircraft's three engines failed during its approach into Salekhard Airport. The aircraft carrying only its crew, whose ownership was not reported, landed without incident and investigations are reported as being underway.
