Mi-8 crashes in trees

One person killed

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an Mi-8 belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs crashed on the 23rd March near Labinsk (150 km south-east of Krasnodar). According to early reports the cause of crash was strong winds causing the helicopter to veer into some trees during landing. Of the 11 people on board, one died, and eight other were hospitalized.
