Exhibition announced

Russian aero engine exibition set for April 2000

Engines 2000, the sixth such international exhibition In Moscow, will take place from 18th-22nd April. According to Victor Chuiko, President of the Union of Aviation Engine Manufacturers, around 20 foreign and over 100 Russian companies will participate. For the first time, these will include exhibitors from China, Belorussia and Bulgaria. He added that the main objectives of Engines 2000 are to introduce foreign and Russian designs and to promote Russian engines in both domestic and international markets. The organising committee is headed by Ilya Klebanov, Deputy Prime Minister and includes the Russian Ministry of Defence, the Russian Ministry of Economics, the Moscow government, the union of aviation engine manufacturers, Aviaexport and Gazprom.
