Russian carrier can overfly China again

Russian-Chinese agreement on overflight signed restoring route closed for 35 years

The Russian-Chinese Transport Sub-Commission has signed an agreement under which Vladivostok-Avia will be allowed to fly across Chinese territory, so reducing the flight-time on the route Vladivostok-Moscow by around one hour. The document, which was signed by Alexander Lugovets, First Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia and the Chinese First Deputy Minister of Railways, shows the warming or relationships between the two countries, by restoring a route that has been closed for some 35 years.
