new General Director at Bashkirsky Airlines

Regional airline continues to develop

Vilmir Gaziyev has been appointed General Director of state-owned Bashkirsky Airlines (BAL), in Bashkortostan. Gaziyev was formerly Deputy General Director of the airline. He succeeds Vilghelm Kapp, who has been appointed General Director of Ufa International Airport. BAL was formerly part of Aerovolga. It recently announced plans to add two more T-154Ms to its fleet and has launched a new route to Moldova, Kishinev. It is also constructing an international terminal.
