Kosmos military satellite launched from Plesetak

Another military satellite, designated Kosmos-2366, has been launched on behalf of Russia's Ministry of Defence, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northwest Russia. The satellite, which was put into orbit by a Kosmos-3M rocket, was designed by Polyot in the Siberian city of Omsk. It was the second Russian military satellite to be launched in August. Since 1967, Plesetsk has seen 398 launches of the Kosmos-3M rocket (374 of them completely successful), placing 708 satellites into
